The 8th Annual OC Marathon will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Road closures and delays will begin starting at 5:30 a.m. throughout our host cities of Newport Beach, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa, lasting in some areas through 3:00 p.m.

The full listing of closing and reopening times from 2011 can be found below. The 2012 documents will be posted at the same links as soon as they are available in early 2012. We expect most of the information to remain the same, however, it will not be considered final until the new documents are posted. If you reside within a quarter mile of much of the course or if you are locked in and require alternative overnight parking locations because you must get out prior to your home being accessible, please look for the applicable door hanger below.

The OC Marathon has a dedicated Traffic Hotline phone number through May 2, 2012. The hotline number is:  949-222-9888. You may leave a message which will be returned within one business day. You can also email us at traffic@ocmarathon.com, these will also be answered within one business day.  From May 3 to May 5, 2012, a dedicated cell phone number will be available for impacted residents to contact to receive assistance with alternative traffic plans. That number will be turned on and posted on the site at 8 a.m. on May 3, 2012.

We appreciate your patience on race day. The 2011 event supported 60 schools with nearly 3000 kids in our Kids Run the OC Training Program and partners with 15 local charities to provide them a vehicle to raise much needed funds and awareness for their causes. We couldn't do what we do without the support of our citizens in our host cities. Thank you!
