Mail in Registration Forms: Mail in registration forms may be requested by writing email@example.com. A $15.00 data entry fee will be added to the entry fees for all mail in entries. Your mail in registration will not be processed if it does not include the additional $15.00 data entry fee. There are NO REFUNDS of any registration fees. Please read all the policies on the registration page. You will be asked to agree to all of them as you go through registration.
Transfers: Transfer Requests From One Race to Another can be accommodated online for the published fees when you go to through the transfer process; as long as there are openings available in the race you wish to be transferred. Changes can also be made at the Health and Fitness Expo provided spaces are available in the race of your choice. Please pay close attention to any sell out announcements.
Cancellations: If you cannot participate after you have registered, please notify us in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to ship your participant shirt for shipping and handling fees at your request, provided requests are made prior to 3/13/13. Please include your name, street address, gender, age, phone number and T-shirt size in your email. Due to advanced ordering and preparation, we cannot refund your fees.
Entries are Non Transferable: Entries are good only for the year they are intended. We no longer offer any deferred entries for any reason. Entries are non-transferable from person to person. Thank you for your understanding.
You can register on line through 11:59 p.m on May 1, 2013. After that time, you will need to register at the Health and Fitness Expo. Please pick up your race packets (bib, D-Tag timing chip, technical shirts, t-shirts, goodie bag) at the Expo on Friday, May 3, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. or Saturday, May 4, from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, 92626.
Please note: Each participant must attend the Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, May 3, 2013 between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m or Saturday, May 4, 2013 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and show their identification to pick up their own race bib, D-tag timing chip, technical shirt or t-shirt, and goody bag. You also must sign a hard copy of the release waiver at this time. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP!
No Show Expo Fee MUST BE CHOSEN DURING REGISTRATION and is ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH 3/13/13: If you absolutely cannot make it to the Expo on Friday or Saturday, we can make special arrangements to mail your bib number and timing tag to you approximately one week before the race. This option is ONLY available during the online registration process and CANNOT be changed once you have selected this option or chosen NOT to select it. The fee for this service is a non-refundable $25 and can be added to your cart during your registration purchase. The delivery is only for the bib and timing tag, you will pick-up your shirt and any other items on race day.
A friend or family member may pick up your bib IF AND ONLY IF they have a copy of your driver's license and a signed waiver which can be downloaded here. 2013 Event Waiver.
WHEELCHAIR RULES FOR THE OC MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON: This division is for Push Rim & Hand Cycle participants. Hand Cyclists start the Half Marathon 2 minutes before the Half Marathoners at 6:28 a.m. Push Rims start the Marathon 2 minutes before the Marathoners at 5:28 a.m. Due to the conflicts with the 5k finish, participation by Hand Cycles are limited to the HALF Marathon. Cash prize money and awards will be given to the top three male and female Full Marathon Push Rim finishers.
