For example, if a runner starts the series at Orange County Marathon in 2011, s/he must complete Long Beach 2011 and Surf City 2012 to qualify for the reward.
The first opportunity to start the series was Surf City 2011. If a runner started at Surf City 2011, s/he must complete OC 2011, and Long Beach 2011 to qualify for the reward. Currently, runners that ran Long Beach and Surf City will complete their challenge at the OC.
