Expo and Kids Run the OC Parking April 29 and April 30, 2011:

Parking will be available to participants and spectators at the OC Fair and Event Center. Expo and Event Gate Entry information will be posted here closer to the event date. There is a charge of $8.00 for Preferred Parking or $5.00 for General Parking on Friday and Saturday. Pre-paid race day parking can also be purchased for $5.00 at the   Health, Nutrition & Fitness Expo.  A layout of the OC Fair & Event Center for Event Weekend will be posted here by March 2011.

From San Diego:

• Take the 405 Freeway North to the 55 Freeway South.  Exit Fair/Del Mar. Proceed to Fair Dr and turn right. Continue on Fair Dr. to Fairview Dr. and turn right.  Use the Gate 3 entrance and park in lots E and D.
  

From Los Angeles:

• Take the 405 Freeway South to Fairview Dr. or Harbor Blvd. west to Merrimac Way and turn left. Enter into the OC Fair and Event Center through Gate 3 and park in Lots E and D.
• Take the 405 Freeway South to the 55 Freeway South. Exit Fair/Del Mar. Proceed to Fair Dr and turn right. Continue on Fair Dr. to Fairview Dr. and turn right.  Use the Gate 3 entrance and park in lots E and D.
  

From San Bernardino/ Riverside County:

• Take the 91 Freeway West to the 55 Freeway South.  Exit Fair/Del Mar. Proceed to Fair Dr and turn right. Continue on Fair Dr. to Fairview Dr. and turn right.  Use the Gate 3 entrance and park in lots E and D.
• Take the 57 Freeway South to the 5 Freeway West to the 55 Freeway South. Exit Fair/Del Mar. Proceed to Fair Dr and turn right. Continue down Fair Dr. to Fairview and turn right.  Use the Gate 3 entrance and park in lots E and D.

Race Day Shuttles for Full and Half Marathoners:

This is a point to point course. Shuttle service will be offered to participants from the Finish Line at the OC Fair and Event Center to the Start Line prior to the start of the race. Shuttles will run from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. There will be limited shuttle service back to the Start Line following the race, so all participants are encouraged to park at the OC Fair and Event Center and take a shuttle to the start or have someone drop them off at the Start of the race at the designated area. Please make your arrangements accordingly. Shuttle Maps will be posted here closer to event date. You will be emailed a Shuttle Bus time on April 28, 2011 when you are emailed your bib number assignment. Please adhere to your scheduled shuttle bus time so that all participants can make it to the Start Line on time.  

Race Day Parking May 1, 2011:

Full and Half Marathon Parking (Arriving between 4:00 a.m.- 6:00 a.m. at OC Fair & Event Center):

From San Diego:

• Take the 405 Freeway South to Fairview Dr or Harbor Blvd. West to Merrimac Way and turn left. Park in Orange Coast College lots off of Merrimac Way or enter into the OC Fair and Event Center through Gate 3 and park in lots E and D.
• Take the 405 Freeway South to the 55 Freeway South. Exit Fair/Del Mar. Proceed to Fair Dr and turn right. Continue on Fair Dr. to Fairview Dr. and turn right.  Use the Gate 3 entrance and park in lots E and D or the Orange Coast College lots off of Merrimac Way.

From San Bernardino/ Riverside County:

5K & Finish Line Spectator Parking (Arriving between 6:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. at OC Fair & Event Center):

From San Diego:

• Take the 405 Freeway north to the Fairview Dr. Exit Fairview Dr. and turn left.  Continue south to Orange Coast College parking lots off of Merrimac Way.

From Los Angeles:

• Take the 405 Freeway South to Fairview Dr.  Exit Fairview Dr. and turn right.  Continue south to Orange Coast College parking lots off of Merrimac Way.

From San Bernardino/ Riverside County:

• Take the 91 Freeway West to the 55 Freeway South.  Take the 55 Freeway to the 405 north to Fairview Dr. Exit Fairview Dr. and turn left.  Continue south to Orange Coast College parking lots off of Merrimac Way.

Full and Half Marathon Start Line Parking (Fashion Island Area):

There is limited parking at the marathon and half marathon start area. There will be a participant drop off area on Newport Center Drive adjacent to Fashion Island near the Start Line. A map with approved Start Line Parking locations will be posted here closer to event date. There is absolutely NO parking available at Fashion Island or other Irvine Company parking facilities.  There is limited parking at the start and limited shuttle service back to the Start after the event, so we encourage you to park at the Finish or be dropped off at the Start.

If you are staying at a host or local hotel, please contact the hotel directly for transportation services they may be providing.

Start Line Location:

• The Start Line for the Full and Half Marathon is located on Newport Center Drive at Farallon Drive at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA. A Start Line Map will be posted here closer to event date.  To access the start line participants and spectators will take the 73 Freeway to MacArthur Blvd.   Take MacArthur Blvd. to San Miguel Drive.  From there please follow parking attendants to parking locations.
  

Runner Drop-Off Directions:

• The runner drop-off zone will be accessed from MacArthur Blvd.  Vehicles will drive west on San Miguel Drive, left onto Avocado Ave, right onto Farallon Drive, and then right onto Anacapa Drive.  From here vehicles will be directed to the designated participant drop off area on the SE corner of Anacapa Drive and Newport Center Drive.  To exit, proceed right onto Newport Center Drive then right on San Miguel Drive. A drop-off map will be posted here closer to event date.
