The OC Marathon has opened registration (www.ocmregistration.com) for the Marathon and Half Marathon utilizing a new registration system.

Special offer introductory pricing will be $50.00 for the Half Marathon and $70.00 for the Full Marathon. On August 19, prices will adjust to the standard Early Bird prices of $65.00 for the Half Marathon and $80.00 for the Full Marathon.

After record numbers for the 2010 race, including the sold-out marathon, we are even more excited about their plans for the 2011 race. We exceeded our expectations in a number of the events including the Kids Run the OC, that went from 892 children in 2009 to nearly 2,000 last year from 40 Orange County schools. The 2010 OC Marathon also had 21 official charities, which used runner pledges to raise more than $250,000 for their various causes.
