Can I get information on having my school participate in the OC Kids race next spring. I understand that there is a meeting this week, but I've tried to contact via e-mail and phone and have gotten no response. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, Thanks for writing! We are a little later getting started than we had hoped, but we have just calendared our information and training meetings for the fall/winter. We will have one hour INFORMATIONAL meetings on 10.27.09 and 11.30.09 in the evenings. Times and locations will be posted in this forum and on the Kids Run the OC page as soon as they are confirmed. The TRAININGS for the program will be on two Saturdays, 12.12.09 and 1.9.10 from 9-12 at the Orange County Department of Education in Costa Mesa. There will be an INFORMATIONAL meeting from 9-10am prior to the TRAINING if you can't attend the evening ones in October and November. The TRAINING portion will be from 10-12noon. You only need to attend one informational meeting and one training as a new school. We decided to provide a variety of options on different days to try to accomodate everyone that is interested in the program. We hope that our returning schools will attend the trainings as well to serve as mentors/resources for our new schools! Hope this helps with your planning.
